Mark Walker - stand-up comedian and impressionist

Mark Walker built his career the hard way, starting out on the cabaret club and holiday centre circuit before moving into television and theatre work. He is the son of Catchphrase legend Roy Walker, and while the family name opened doors, it is his own sharp impressions and stagecraft that have kept him working for well over fifteen years in a competitive industry. That combination of a recognisable name and genuine, hard-earned talent has given him a longevity in the business that few acts manage to sustain.

His television credits include hosting Central Television's game show Steal and presenting Sky One's Britain's Wildest, alongside guest appearances on BBC1, Channel 4 and Channel 5 over the years. On stage he has taken two solo shows to the Edinburgh Festival and spent time treading the boards too, playing Greaseball in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express and appearing in the production Heavenly Bodies alongside other West End performers. That spread across television, theatre and stand-up gives him a performing range that most club comedians simply don't have at their disposal.

Mark's mix of impressions, character work and confident stage presence makes him a strong booking for corporate functions, club nights and family shows where audiences want a polished, larger than life performer who knows how to hold a room. His theatre and television background adds a level of polish that comes through in every performance, whatever the size of the crowd or the nature of the occasion in front of him.
